You have to hit your body from both angles. Diet and exercise are the two critical components to get you where you want to be. You can not have one without the other. Without the two you are setting yourself up for failure.

Getting sexy abs is about exercise, however getting them to show is about losing fat and that requires eating healthier and exercise. So which belly fat exercises work best? Here are three highly effective fat burning belly exercises that you can perform in under 20 minutes.

If you are a beginner you can do one set of each to start. As you progress you will want to increase your sets to two to three per belly fat exercise.

1. Heels to ceiling – Lie on your back on a bench or the floor. Raise your legs vertically and keep straight throughout. Lift your butt off the floor or bench approximately six inches, lower and repeat. Complete 15 – 20 reps per set.

2. Reverse Crunch – Lie on your back on the floor. Lift your legs and bend at the knees as if you are sitting in a chair. Maintain this position throughout the exercise. Raise your bent legs backward toward your head until your butt lifts off the floor. Lower and repeat for 15 – 20 reps.

3. Bench Crunch – Lie on your back on the floor with your legs resting flat on a bench or chair. Place your heads behind your head or your torso. Now contract your abs so your shoulders lift three to six inches off the floor. Lower and repeat for 15 – 25 reps.

That’s it…three belly fat exercises to transform your belly into a flat sexy stomach. Combine this with a well balanced diet, proper sleep and relaxation and you will have an unbeatable combination.
